Discover Western Colorado in a Whole New Way with A Private Guided Off-Road Tour
Experience Colorado's breathtaking landscapes, unique rock formations, and stunning natural beauty on an unforgettable adventure. Enjoy an exhilarating hike through rugged terrain, culminating in a stunning view of the arches. There is something truly magical about this hidden landscape, which is easily missed unless you venture there! Don't forget to bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and take your camera to capture those beautiful moments! There are no trails accessible from February 15 to April 15, so make sure you plan your trip accordingly.
Here's what to expect on your off-road adventure. Check-in and safety orientation will take place at Adrenaline Driven Adventure Headquarters. As we travel through the Colorado National Monument, we will reach our next stop, the Black Ridge Off-Road Trailhead. At the off-road trailhead, we will drive our UTVs 5 miles through the backcountry wilderness to the hiking trailhead. On the 1.5-mile journey along the trail, you'll see eight arches carved into the sandstone cliffs. As part of your experience, you will have the opportunity to walk across the famous Cedar Tree Arch, which is the largest arch in Colorado, measuring 76 feet across and 43 feet wide.
The best time of year to visit is between mid-October and mid-April. If you don't start hiking early in the morning, summer temperatures can be unbearably hot. Winters in the desert can be quite chilly, but sunny winter days offer pleasant hiking conditions without the heat. In comparison to spring, fall is usually drier and less windy. This area is a favorite hiking spot for us from late October to the beginning of January.
โ
All destination tours have a 30 minute scenic drive to the off-road trailhead. Adrenaline Driven Adventures provides transportation to all off-road trails. All tour participants will meet at ADAC headquarters on Horizon Drive in Grand Junction, Colorado.
